  • Weekly Review; A Great Run and an Awesome Climb

    This was a great week.  Every workout was completed as planned, 2 of them were significantly better.  I had a run that wasn’t my fastest, but showed me I was close, something it feels like I haven’t seen for ages.  I had a bike ride where I far exceeded the expectations I set for myself.

  • Weekly Review: Maintaining While Camping

    I surprised myself and stuck with my plan while camping even though I wanted to skip a few things. I was rewarded with a nice number on the scale. This makes me feel better about my planning workouts while traveling, but I still have to remember to stay conservative and not overdo it.

    The marathon was tough on my body.  This was not a surprise though I found it harder to get out and do things than I had planned.  After a big event like this, I generally like to at least get out and swim, but I wasn’t feeling it.
